Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bush, Blackbird & Thrush
Classic West Kent pub, hidden away on a quiet country lane and once surrounded by the orchards and hop gardens of the 'Garden of England', featuring an almost symmetrical façade with a tile-hung upper elevation. Partly opened out to leave a bar and dining area (both of these originally further divided), separated by the central fireplace, and very traditional in both parts. No handpumps on the counter, and as a Shepherd Neame house it was to find just the seasonal May Bee (in good shape, but 'ouch' priced at £5.40) on gravity from a cask on one of the six part-hidden stillages behind the bar back on this visit. NB - As a popular food pub, it can be difficult to get a seat during the busiest periods (especially Sunday lunchtime), but there are also a couple of wooden benches at the front plus a proper beer garden at the back open in the summer months.
