Blue Scrumpy left this review about Bathurst Arms
Country pub next to a river and bordering the village of North Cerney.
There is a large garden at the front and the pub currently has a teepee near the entrance where a family were eating. With tables free inside, I assume this was because kids are not allowed inside. If this is indeed the case, it seems particularly perverse when dogs are allowed inside out of the cold. Indeed, one was blocking the way to the bar from the entrance.
Primarily a dining pub, there are number of different rooms, with the bar itself in the middle. Staff were aplenty, but none were seemingly available to serve us. Lord knows what they were doing. We were however eventually served by a guy with a fairly dry sense of humour.
3 real ales were on - Hop Kettle Polaris & COB & Stroud Budding. I wasn't particularly impressed with the Budding, but that may just have been the style of beer.
