Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Library

Imposing building, formerly the Norfolk and Norwich Subscription Library (dating from 1886, although it looks older) with a very grand entrance that leads directly into the main restaurant area. However, there is also a smaller bar at one end, hidden behind a wooden screen, and both parts are set beneath an all-round gallery under the towering ceiling above. The smart modern furniture contrasts with the historic surroundings but seems to work well enough in its own way. No real ale, unfortunately, so I tried the local Lacons Steam lager (£4.60) in preference to the Greene King East Coast IPA, Staropramen or Becks Vier.
