Tris C left this review about The Graduate

Dating from at least the start of the 19th century, but obviously rebuilt and probably in the same century, this was until recently the Coach & Horses.
The interior is quite dark and atmospherically cosy, with a boarded floor, traditional furniture, raised area to the left with dartboard, two pool tables to the rear, a games machine and masses of knickknacks such as brewers’ and distillers’ mirrors, tankards and jugs; there are also a few brewers’ neon signs, giving a slightly American dive bar feel; football was being shown, sound off with no customer interest. Customers seemed like older, more traditional types and possibly a couple of students.
There’s no ale here, just a pan-global assortment of fizz, me having to make do with a half of Coors at £2.50, served up by a friendly landlady.
There’s a decent boozer trying to get out here, making for something different in the SE10 locale, but depriving it of its traditional pub name means that it doesn’t stand out on a list of pubs; whom or what is the Graduate in question? With no cask ale, I don’t see a reason to return, but here’s to you Mrs Robinson!
