As Aqualung says below this rather odd looking Wetherspoons is a way out of town. Modern box design, open plan and all on one floor. No character. 5 hand pubs. 2 Abbot, Ruddles, Doom Bar and Exmas. I wanted the Exmas as it's the only one I haven't tried, but was told the pumps need cleaning so couldn't have it. I plumped for a watery Ruddles best which I can't complain at as it cost 99p. Very soulless, definitely one of the worst Spoons I have visited.

This is a rather remote Spoons set just off the Rockingham Road. It is part of a modern leisure complex built on the site of an old iron ore quarry that once supplied the local defunct steel industry. It must be about a mile and a half out of the centre of Corby and I got here by using a number three bus to the bus stop at the top of Ennerdale Road near the Shire Horse in Willow Brook Road. The area includes an Aldi supermarket and a Hungry Horse GK pub over the road.
It's basically a modern box of steel and glass that is totally uninspiring. Inside the furnishings are fairly typical but there is a wood stove in the centre of the pub.
The bar has two sets of five hand pumps which had one available soon, the two GK beers, Doom Bore, Elgood's Hickathrift, a beer called Leviathan that I can't trace, Caledonian / Baird Rising Sun Pale Ale, Grainstore GB Best, Nethergate Old Growler and Bateman's XXXB. I went for the Grainstore GB Best which was in good condition.
Given the inaccessibility of this place by public transport it's probably not worth the effort unless you like long walks through boring towns.
