Rex Rattus left this review about Frames

There's no sign of any handpumps on the bar as you enter, but I went through the arch that faces you, and on the left hiding behind the pillar was a lone handpump clipped for Moncada Brewery Notting Hill Ruby Rye (£4.20 a pint). The barman looked askance at the pump and announced that he had never used one of these "things" before, which didn't bode well for ale quality. But, with encouragement from yours truly, he managed to get a full pint in the glass. And a really good pint it was too; full of flavour and well worth waiting for. I didn't see a menu, but I saw some snacks advertised on a board - chips were £3.

I've no idea why this place is called Frames. It's clearly an old pub which presumably at one time had a proper pub name. Everything in here is dark brown, including most of the walls, the bar counter, and all the upholstery. It's all very arty, with a sunburst framed mirror over the fireplace, silver painted decorative twigs all over the place, jars of baubles on the bar counter, and a little table by the entrance with a bowl and tinsel on it. There was a TV on, tuned to some rubbish music channel.

The best thing about this pub was clearly the excellent pint of Moncada Ruby Rye.
