The Barley Mow was a three storey white painted pub that was situated away from the middle of Ulverston.
Once inside there were two rooms and we had a drink in the lounge and this was quite a nice room to have a drink in,this was mainly a locals pub but we were happy enough having a drink in here.
When we went in this pub it was a John Smiths tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was John Smiths bitter which was on handpump this was a decent drink.
