Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Scott Arms

1960s establishment located in the eponymous shopping centre. Retains its two-bar layout, with the lounge having a slightly raised area at the end, and the smaller public bar features a dartboard. Unremarkable semi-modern furniture and decor throughout. Also has a few patio tables out front. Standard Stonegate menu. Three real ales available from the bank of four handpumps in the lounge: Bombardier, Tribute and Purity Mad Goose (£2.60).

Soup Dragon left this review about Scott Arms

A bit of a landmark of a pub in Great Barr, named after the local family. The old coaching inn pub was demolished in the 60s leaving this new building - originally of undressed brick it was refurbished around 5 years or so, i think, and now, although still looking 1960s in style, it has red and white painted brick and a patio. The pub sits is a shopping centre car park.

The interior has two rooms. The lounge is on two levels and is in yellow, red and cream in general, with comfy chairs and pictures/photos of the locale on the walls. This room is used for dining from a value menu - i didn't eat. The bar is in cream and wood panel, which also had a TV. There was a TV, which was silent and there was background music, mixed and at a decent level. There was a mixed clientele. The service was fine.

Beer; tap stuff with Banks's MILd and bitter - i had a bitter shandy. The real ale taps, sporting Brew XI and Pedigree were not on in the lounge, but seemed to be on in the bar.

It seemed a basic kind of pub/eatery to me
