Jacks House is a decent looking stone built pub that is a very short walk from Todmordens town centre.
Once inside the bar faces in a smallish oblong shaped room that runs the width of the pub,the room is carpeted and has comfy bench seating and chairs, giving it a cosy feel, there were two TVs one showing sky sports and the other showing the Liverpool v Hull game.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Reedly Hallows Auld Laund bitter which was a nice drink, the other real ales were Moorhouses Blonde Witch,Moorhouses White Witch and Bombardier Gold.
I quite liked this pub.

a stone built pub on the Burnley road going out of the town centre, the counter sports four handpumps with a mix of brewers beers. Lightly modernised with laminate floors and some modern technology in the form of disco kit it still retains a traditional feel with something for most people. The front bar is fairly conventional and there's a barrel vaulted room at the back, possibly an ex-cellar with the floor raised, the back of the pub is certainly an extension. Mixed furniture with Britannia tables and leather armchairs and sofas amongst it. There's a beer garden with a hatch into the counter. We encountered the canned beer drinking youngsters outside but they were no trouble and moved on somewhere else fairly soon.

I might be from the 1950's, but this is my sort of pub. Good food, good beer, and a gem of a Landlady.
This is a traditional pub with the feel of olde worlde. There is usually something or another going on.
Bands, good music, darts, pool, team & club meets etc. Can be a little noisy at times, but thats fine by me.
A good local pub, and being on the main burnley road its definatly worth a call in.
I had a home made steak pie, real chips, and real mushy peas with all good portions, and all at their recession busting price of £2.50.

Neat little stone built pub on the main road into Tod. One main downstairs room with a small snug at the rear through the door next to the bar. There's an upstairs room (not visited) where they have live music and an open mic night every so often. Olde Worlde inside with low beams and lots of old wood. 4 handpumps on the bar on my visit serving Lancaster Blond & Amber, Caledonian Marching Orders and another clip for Moorhouse's Pride Of Pendle turned round. The Cally was a very well kept pint. It's a proper local and I'll certainly call in again.
