Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Wine Lodge

This street-level bar bears no resemblance to the name; instead being an open-plan arrangement with no proper tables and mostly vertical drinking space with just a few barstools around the periphery. No windows, but it has light decor and a high ceiling with a glazed canopy. Also has another bar / dining room downstairs (not visited). Young's Ordinary, Greene King London Glory and Harvey's (£4.20) from the two banks of three handpumps.

Alan Winfield left this review about Wine Lodge

The Wine Lodge is a small pub that is fairly close to fenchurch street station.
Once inside this pub is fairly narrow and the bar was on the right there were no proper seats just bar stools so when busy it is mainly upright drinking only.
The pub is ok during quiet times but at dinner and early evening the place soon fills up with suits, when i visited this pub it was a Youngs tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Youngs bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Youngs Special.
The pub only opened during the week and was closed all weekend.
Youngs have now sold the pub.
