Old Boots left this review about Pack Horse Inn

Lovely old stone built moorland pub with a bit of everything; flags, stone walls, traditional furnishings, even a bit of panelling. The main rooms are however carpeted. Modified layout of two biggish rooms either side of a three faced counter, the third face serves what was an entrance corridor. There are open fireplaces in both rooms, and its has typical country pub decor with a good number of horse racing pictures as well. Local produce is on sale in the entrance, eggs, cakes and that sort of thing. Four pulls on each main face with local beers from Thwaites, Black Sheep, Grey Hawk and Conquest. The beers are in reasonable nick but it's mainly a diners pub.
