Alan Winfield left this review about Scots Grey

I first went in this pub on 6 August 1982 and been in a few times since when it was still an Home Ales tied house.
The Scots Grey was in the middle of Bulwell in the pedestrianised area, once inside the pub was a fairly basic town pub with a bar and lounge both were decent enough rooms and there was Home mild and bitter on electric pump this was real ale and a very nice drink.
Sadly this pub has now closed down but is still standing at the moment.

like so many pubs this one saw its best years ago,it changed its name to The Venue, and that was the final gasp of life for this hall of entertainment.Sadly closed now
