E TA left this review about Westbury Inn

A traditional village inn, once a coaching inn of sorts, now a local pub. There is an astroturfed garden at the front next to a small car park, and they have a larger, more pleasant garden at the rear. Inside, the single large bar is comfortable, and the staff are welcoming. On entering there was a strong smell of disinfectant, which lingered throughout our visit but was tolerable once we got used to it. They served very good bar food at a reasonable price, locally sourced and freshly cooked. Only one ale on, Butcombe Gold, which was in good condition. This was an enjoyable lunchtime visit, good food and ale, a warm welcome and a pleasant pub atmosphere. Worth a visit if in the area.
