Komakino . left this review about The Harrow

This two-roomed country pub nestles in the valley just up from Disraeli's former country pile. Entered by gate via a spacious front beer garden (filled with weeknight after-work imbibers), there are two separate entrances - the first into a main bar area, the second into a bar / restaurant area. The former has a large open fireplace to the left, wooden bench seating in two bay windows either side of the entrance and a small, sunken bar area ahead to the right (offering Fuller's London Pride, St Austell Tribute and Courage Bitter). There's some nice Olde Worlde touches with wood panelling and a hole on one of the bench seats by the fireplace recalls the 'pitch penny' corners which used to be a common sight in East Anglian public houses. The second room is larger, but does have tables and chairs sequestered for drinkers along with a handful of bar stools: the ale line-up is duplicated on this side. This could be a winner as it ticks a lot of boxes, but some doggie paraphernalia near the bar (bed and toys) and pedestrian ale choice means it scores lower than it should.
