A nice looking building on a prominent street corner not far from the station, but seemingly in the wrong direction to catch much passing trade. It was deserted at the time of my Sunday afternoon visit, but seemingly I'd just missed their busy period. There's something particularly depressing about loud music in an empty pub, and the size of the loud speakers suggests that this one is never quiet. There are two hand pumps, but only one real ale on at the time of my visit, which was on at £2.50/pint as a special offer. A half turned out to be £1.40 and to be fair it was in ok condition, but I couldn't recommend a revisit here.

One real ale - Flat Cap from Bank Top which was OK. One room place with pool area to right.

A decent pub. Had a couple of real ales on. As its right by Blackpool North station you can either start or end your pub crawl here. Worth a visit. Possibly.

At the time we visited, at the beginning of April, the pub was closed and due to reopen over Easter, so no idea if this pub is still a Jennings pub and what, if any, real ales will be available when it reopens.
