A fairly average pub split into 2 rooms. The smaller room is to your left. This has 3 handpumps on the bar with reversed clips of Theakston Black Bull and XB plus Tetleys Cask. The larger room has 2 areas, one of which houses a pool table. Its not a great pub but there are a lot worse you're going to go in.

This pub is effectively 2 lounges, both served by a central bar and both decently furnished. There are a few bits of interest around the pub and the bar itself in the right hand room is very neat. There are 3 handpumps on the bar with all 3 turned round. I asked the barmaid if they were used. She said the landlord "may" have some on during the winter, but he can't sell it around here. This is despite the fact that the GBG listed Sportsman is almost across the road and has 9 handpumps on the go! The pub displays Cask Marque signs outside, but don't be fooled, go straight to the Sportsman.

When i went in this pub it had a proper name of the Moulders Arms, the pub is situated on the busy mottram road just off Hyde town centre.
Once inside the pub had three rooms i had a drink in a very smart and comfortable lounge which was carpeted, the pub used to be a Tetley tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Tetley bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Tetley mild.
I quite liked this pub but no doubt it has altered a lot since my visit.
