Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Stanley Arms
Solid-looking corner pub, but with an angle greater than 90°, the twin-bar layout is more spacious than one might expect. Fairly plain decoration, but the traditional furniture looks appealing (and especially in the slightly lower side room where the dartboard can be found. Disappointingly for a Good Beer Guide pub, just one of the four handpumps was in use when I visited. However, this produced a decent pint of Moorhouse's White Witch (£3.40), and Theakston's Best Bitter and TT Golden Best have clearly been on recently.

Slightly more modern in décor compared to the nearby Royal Oak. The layout consisted of an L Shaped room with the bar area on the left hand side. The interior in here was only refurbished 12 months ago and the interior décor was silver finished wallpaper and a few sections of traditionally finished upholstered banquette seating. Their bar hosted four pumps, with only one in use, which was Bradfield Farmers Blonde, which was in excellent condition.

Called in Sunday 16th November not any one else in but nice enough place young girl behind the bar very chatty tried to keep me interested not like a lot of young girls would have been on there phone texting when its quiet. will call back
