Still going strong and had all 23 handpumps in operation last weekend. They now a have a lager font, but it's not a run of the mill lager, sadly I can't remember what it was though. Visited 3 times over 2 days this time around.

Walters now has an astonishing 17 handpumps for real ale AND another 6 for real cider They don't sell draught lager at all any more. We called in for a couple (well maybe more) both nights during our visit to Hull to chat with the friendly & knowledgeable bar staff. All the beers I tried were in good condition and whilst there's only one red wine sold by the glass the other half thought it was fine. It's now a mecca for real ale fans in Hull and well worth its entry in the GBG2012. The same people also own the nearby Wm Hawkes & The Lion & Key. The Scale Lane crawl, short, but loads of beer!!

Up and coming modern bar with a good range of ever changing real ales. Comfy seats, decent selection of wine, no fruit machines. All in all a nice place if you want a chat with some peace and quiet. The beer has always been top notch when we've been in as well.

astonishing range of cask ales 20 on at time of our visit and 6 ciders, no lager on sale ,awesome pub.

6 real ciders on hand pull, something i haven't found anywhere else in Hull, not even in the supposed "Cider Pub Of The Year", perhaps that competition was judged by an ale drinker?! Never mind Walters, you were our number 1! Keep up the good work. Viva la cidre!

This is a modern pub in an old building in the old town area of Hull.The bar is on the right as you enter i was surprised to see about 10 handpumps on the bar 3 ot these sold ciders,i had Saltair Bavarian Gold it was very good there was also Keltec Even Keel and an Everards seasonal beer,did'nt get to write all the beer down,this pub is well worth going to.

This was the best place we found on a mini crawl of Good Beer Guide pubs in Hull centre while waiting for the ferry. Good selection of beers in a clean tidy pub with friendly staff. Only downside was the beer was rather cold, but maybe thats how the locals like it.

Very modern styled bar with an extraordinary 10 hand pulls for ale plus another three for real cider, plus some foreign bottles and kegs. The ales are from micros across the country and in excellent condition and keenly priced at 1-60 to 2-60 a pint depending on strength. Quite an easy place to lose many happy hours. Wide, bright drinking area at the front with a more subdued sitting area equipped with big comfy black armchairs at the rear. Spot the rude words in the 'Wordster' demo on the games machine.
