Colin Walker left this review about Gargunnock Inn

If you are ever in Gargunnock you are certainly in a different world. This, like a lot of villages in this area of Stirling that have been left a bit isolated. The Inn at Gargunnock is one place not to be missed. This was originally an 18th century staging Inn but has since been extended to provide a restaurant and a function room. If going to visit the bar it is best to come in from the Leckie Road entrance rather than the Main Street entrance, which causes having to walk through the restaurant area when people could be eating. The pub sponsors local football and cricket teams and holds charity events. The bar has a constant changing of local and regional ales. The Inn often rates highly in the CAMRA Forth Valley Pub of the Year. A beer festival is held on the second Sunday in August. The Inn always has very good write-ups about the food quality, which is up to a better standard than pub grub. The pub is open Mon –Thurs - 12pm to Midnight, Fri & Sat - 12pm to 01:00am & Sun – 12:30pm to Midnight. There is limited parking available across from the Inn on the Main Street and in the pub grounds from the Leckie Road.
