Old Boots left this review about The King's Head

A less posh hotel than Beverley Arms and less tasteful decor incorporating pallet wood, at least it's cheaper. Four Marstons beers on pulls hidden on the bar back, my Pedigree tasted sweet and honeyed yuk. A choice of seven keg beers and ciders plus various standard bottles awaits the non cask drinker. No real shape to the place with odd bits of wall popping up here and there. It has a funny Edison bulb and plumbing lighting “feature” in one corner.

This pub is on the market place it has been done up and given the modern look with bare boards it has one large room with different drinking areas there were two real ales on these were Marstons Pedigree and Hobgoblin.
The pub gets very busy at weekends with younger people.
This pub does accomodation and the rooms are quite nice and comfortable there is also a seperate room for diners we had a two course dinner here which was very nice but expensive.
