What happens when you have a pub opposite a scenic and popular pond and park? Race to the bottom - as fast as possible and when you get there, find a new lower level of bottom to aim for. A horror from start to finish; a squat nasty building that wouldn't look out of place on a sink estate with an interior and clientele to match. Gloomy and humid inside, two pumps with the gruesome Greene King twosome of Abbot and IPA. My IPA came in a plastic cup and was a classic naff GK serving (NBSS 2). £3.75 for a half of pish and a small blackcurrant and soda was the final insult.
