This is a small but cosy friendly pub with a warm friendly atmosphere. The friendly staff offer you a warm welcome. The pub is situated just a short distance away from the town centre and very close to the train station and the bus station so is ideal if you just want to pass the time whilst waiting for either of these services. With its warm friendly atmosphere it is a great pub to visit either if here on holiday or just a quiet drink with friends. It has a covered smoking area and beer garden at the rear. The weekend entertainment is great fun aswell with live music every Saturday night and occasional karaoke and theme nights. The staff really join in the fun and help you really enjoy the night. They are just in the process of decorating the pub for their annual halloween party on Fri 30th Oct. It really is amazing,you should go take a look at what they have done so far it is unbelievable. The whole family is welcome that night and there is fun and games for all and a free buffet and karaoke and an extended late license. Fancy dress optional. Really great pub and great people.
