Going back to Llandudno this JULY and will call in to the Kings head had some good times there last year but we had the wheather that week they call summer.
Sat out side for a few meals the food is good as well as the beer most people were friendly and easy to get talking to what more do you want on holiday

Handily placed at the bottom of the Great Orme tramway right by the station. Trams pass the pub on the way down so it no doubts get some trade this way, it did mine. It has a bright modern exterior but the interior is very olde worlde with lots of dark wood panelling, decorative glass, an inglenook style fireplace and low lighting. The effect is completed by a number of old photos, adverts and knick-knacks. The pub is split into a number of separate areas on different levels and it's good to go exploring. Smoking area at the back and there are also some tables out the front where you can watch the trams arriving and departing. Greene King beers but there were two guest pumps, albeit at the lower end strength wise, FFF Altons Pride and Hobsons Mild. Well worth a visit, especially if you've just been up the Orme.

Rambling, historic pub next to Great Orme tram station. Good beers and worth the walk uphill.

Great old fashioned type of pub, just like they should be, warm & friendly, open fire etc.
Good selection of draught bitters
Food also available but not tried [chip shop opposite BTW]
The sort of pub one could happily spend all day in drinking great beer
