Will Larter left this review about Snowdonia Parc

This brewery tap is still called Tafarn Snowdonia Parc despite the national park's official name now being Eryri. The beers are labelled with the brewery's name in both Welsh and English, so maybe the pub sign will change too, eventually. This multi-roomed pub is smart and well presented, with plenty of white paint and large windows. Numerous hand pumps are dotted about various sections of bar counter, with three beers on at the time of our Sunday afternoon visit: these were all from the house brewery: Aur Eryri (or Snowdonia Gold), Carmen Sutra (a bitter) and Theodore Stout. All were in good or better condition, with the bitter probably most to my taste but the gold being in the best condition. Service was friendly and informal - the young barman, seeing me take photos of the hand pumps and ask for a half of each, very kindly lined up the glasses in front of their respective pumps for me to take another photo. He'd obviously come across beer ticking before. My daughter now lives less than four miles from here, so I expect we'll be back some time, though I hope we don't get soaking wet through on the way back next time. (What are the chances?)

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Snowdonia Parc

The Snowdonia Parc is the home for the Snowdonia Parc Brewery. It is not far from Mount Snowdon itself and sits next to Waunfawr station on the Welsh Highland Highway. The station can be accessed from the very large car park.

The interior of the pub is quite simple and worn, with a couple of rooms in which climbers and walkers can seek refreshment. The 3 ales on were all from the in-house brewery - Snowdonia Park Gold is the regular beer, whilst there was also Carmen Sutra & Cais. My half of Cais (a stout) was on the turn, something I'd found quite a few times in Wales. No real cider was offered, as far as I can tell. Although looking at the previous review, there may have been something hiding away in another room that I didn't spot.

Get the beer right and this could be a fantastic place to visit. As it is, I can only justify a 6/10.

Aqualung . left this review about Snowdonia Parc

This pub is set on the main road just South of Waunfawr but the Welsh Highland Railway station is at the bottom of the garden.
It's quite a big pub and inside there is a room to the left that includes a pool table followed by the main bar area which also has a room off it with pool and darts. As I was about to leave I noticed there is a further room with more hand pumps behind the bar. It was quiet on an October Wednesday afternoon.
This pub brews their own beer (Snowdonia) and this is the only place I've seen them. There were three available on my visit, Cwrw Gwyrfai, Gold and Carmen Sutra all priced at £3.05 and all in good nick. They are old school beers that are fairly modest but good value for the area.
Although this pub is fairly unexceptional in that it's largely modern and open plan it's worth a look for their ales.
