Locals pub on the high street. Sadly the ale has gone so I settled for a Mansfield Smooth. Pool table and a dartboard.

This is a nice Victorian corner pub, in white with brown paintwork. The corner entrance, with its moulded gable is the most interesting feature. The interior is a U-shaped room around a central island of a serving bar. The room is in red and cream, with a white ceiling and there is pool and darts one side. A small fireplace is visable, along with a few local photos on the walls and some Welsh flags. Red patterned bench seats are the order of the day. There was no music and only one of the TVs was on, showing the racing. The service was fine and the clientele local. Beer; usual tap stuff with Pedigree (just gone) and a decent enough Hobgoblin on handpull. A pleasant pub that at least did a few real ales, even if ubiquitous. Worth a visit.
