I believe the administrators are keeping it going until it gets a buyer. It's a far cry from the heyday's of £1.00 daytime Beers, that would attract regular custom from as far away as Shropshire & the North Wales coast.
Today it's Mostly expensive priced Lager & Bitters that's not much cop. It used to have an Ansells on and the Guinness is still among the best in town. Handy if it rains as there is very little shelter on Aber's prom
It's more of a complex of Bars which includes a Snooker Room at the back, A Brasserie upstairs, a Night Club across the Deck & a Pizza Parlour in the Inn that's a bit to close to the toilets for my liking especially when it ran for 24 hours a day(When did they get an hour or two to clean both thoroughly)
It has the possibly the best views in town if you head to the Snooker Room's Beer Garden at the back. Buy a pitcher if you intend staying long as the Bar is a fair back'n fore trek if you drink fast.It is the most Child & Disabled friendly Pub in town.

Although there's no real ale, this pub is actually a lot better than you might expect. It has plenty of comfortable seating and at least at lunchtimes and early evenings isn't at all rowdy. I would also second the recommendation for the pizzas.

Well-frequented hangout that plays host to Premiership football, home-made pizzas and nitrokeg beer. Being on the Pier, there are great views to be had from the windows, especially if the resident starlings are coming home to roost at dusk. Clientèle usually loud and brash, especially as this is the little sister pub to the nightclub next door. Has a very late licence. A definite if you want to watch the footy, feel hungry (the pizzas are good) and can make a pint of Tuborg last for 90 minutes!

A bar on what is left of the pier. Usually full of grey haired day trippers looking for a meal and a drink. An interesting place to sit and have a meal while a heavy sea and a gale rage outide.Average choice of beer and lager. Wheelchair friendly, its all one level and easily accessed from the Promenade.
