Steve C left this review about The Lord Moreton

The Lord Moreton is used as the dining facility for the large hotel complex attached and includes a carvery. However, there is a separate bar area at the front of the pub to the right of the entrance. In here is a television and BT Sports is shown. Available from the bar was Amstel, San Miguel and a standard keg range. The two hand pumps were drawing Stonehouse Station Bitter and Cambrian Gold. The service was polite, but I found it a tad boring. There may be more atmosphere when the football is on, but I doubt it.

Alan Hurdle left this review about The Lord Moreton

The Lord Moreton is a large modern family food oriented pub in the Moreton Park complex, adjacent to the Moreton Park Lodge Motel and the Moreton Park Home and Garden Centre. Real Ales are available and drinkers welcome, but this pub is really for diners.
It is still handy for the Llangollen Canal and the Chirk Aquaduct.
