Alan Hurdle left this review about Bridge Inn
On the banks of the River Ceiriog, this is 'The First and Last Pub in England' (it had a pub sign saying so!) The inside of this traditional pub is both comfortable and cosy. Real Ales are served at the bar from independant breweries and meals are available. From the outside seating, the twin railway viaduct and Chirk Aquaduct of the Llangollen Canal can be seen crossing from Wales to England high above the River Ceiriog. The canal passes high behind the pub and can be accessed up the hill at bridge 21 making the pub very popular with the canal users.
Temporary closure from 06/10/18 to 20/10/18 when a new tenant will take over.
Now open again!
