A basic and scruffy corner pub that I chanced to do on a whim en route to Totterdown from the Ostrich. My Saturday night visit fond the place full of white Bristolians giving it the full Wigga vibe (thunking reggae on the jukey and the odd whiff of herbs no doubt carried in on their clothing from elsewhere). General atmosphere was pretty rough and ready (even Alan Winfield below says it’s not for the faint hearted!) but I was left to my own devices, though I get the feeling my presence was noted by the regulars. The right angle interior is done out in red and white (is this a Ted pub?) with some mirrored uppers, quite unusual. No sign of any ale so an emergency Blackthorn did for me. I was happy to leave it to the locals after draining my glass and admiring the chap and his dog who both were wearing full Union Jack outfits.

The Little Grosvenor is a small pub that is situated close to the River Avon.
Once inside there is a small single room with the bar on the left side, the room is bare boarded, the seating normal tables and chairs, there is a TV to the front which was showing the West Ham v Man City game.
There are no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Courage Best which was ok for a keg bitter.
There was very loud background music playing and the pub was very busy on an early Saturday evening visit.
Not a pub for the faint hearted.

Known to local Bristolians as the "Little Grosvenor", the Grosvenor Arms is one of the favourite Draught Bass pubs in Bedminster and near the centre of Bristol. Well worth a visit. Shame about the spelling on the dartboard surround!

A basic, no frills boozer located on the corner next to Asda's car park. The front bar is quite small with limited seating, and there's a slightly larger rear bar that had a juke box playing music slightly too loudly. There's also a small courtyard garden at the back of the pub. Actually on second thoughts, calling it a courtyard garden may be a bit generous, it's more of an alleyway strewn with empty plastic Natch bottles. A classy establishment. Punters seemed friendly enough though, one of whom was particularly keen to voice his frustrations on the current immigration policy.

Beers on tap were Bass and Courage Best. Good choice of ciders with Bulmers, Blackthorn, Natch and Taunton Traditional.
