Site is covered in scaffold into the pavement implying works are afoot to reopen the building in some guise as part of the wider student conversion of the upper floors and adjoining premises. Planning application included a flue for bar use so interesting to see if a bar/pub will return as this will see the nearly all the heyday pubs/bars of the strip open again along with the new additions.
