Recent revisit found the ale a bit more ambient and better quality as a result (my Wild Weather and Otter both drank well). Real cider (Old Rosie). Understaffed. Perhaps now worth more of a look on the ale front.

Chef and Brewer outlet next to a Premier Inn near J11 off the M4. Quite a large interior. Three ales on the go usually freezing cold, ale lines bundled in with the lager ones I suspect. I'd be happy if I owned a Ford Mondeo and sold photocopiers and was staying next to this but I wouldn't make an effort to travel here otherwise until they sort the beer out.
