Redwolves Dog left this review about Winstons

I called in on Tuesday evening and it's now called Pickwick again.

Steve C left this review about Winstons

Winstons is a shop converted bar opposite Paignton Railway Station that was a quarter full with an early twenty-something crowd during my Saturday evening visit a couple of weeks ago. The bar is located to the left of the entrance where standard draught is available alongside Otter Ale as well as Topsail and Gold from Bays Brewery. Some seating is found opposite the bar and at the rear is some raised seating that is advertised as a family area during the day. At the end of the bar is a dartboard and the background music was courtesy of MTV which was playing on the two plasma screens that I spotted.
I found the service to be a bit hit and miss and the young chap in charge was a bit full of himself, but the bouncers had done a good job in keeping the local nobheads out so there was a reasonable atmosphere.

There are some decent pubs in this town so I wouldn’t have this venue on a shortlist of must visit places if I ever returned to Torbay.
