Beautiful olde English thatched Inn full of charm.
Welcomed into the warmth of this traditional pub on a very wet weekend by a very friendly and efficient staff.
We stayed in our caravan in the paddock at the rear of the Inn. Beautiful views over the stream and fields, very secluded. Chickens and Peacocks are close by making certain you know you are camping in the country. Lovely walk down the glen along the stream.
Food, fantastic, well cooked and delicious. Home made biscuits and bread, tasty soup. Unable to fault and we recommend you stay and eat here. Book as it may be busy

I write to you to tell you about a pub isn't on the pub Galore web!!
Last week I went to THE SEVEN STARS in Bottlesford, Wiltshire and the place is gorgeous, with thatched roof, old beams, 2 original fireplaces. We had a very nice dinner. Nicely decorated and litted with lots of candles. Food: fresh, local, most of it organic. The service: nice and friendly. I talked to the landlord, which is an ex-city worker , and told us all about the place and his chicken farm. Worth it. I recommend it.
