Hickory’s is a large rambling American themed restaurant and bar located next to Wilmslow Premier Inn, so it was the scene of my last pint of the evening. Opposite the bar counter are a couple of large shell booths, but the rest of the building is for dining. Six premium keg products line the bar, Amstel, Heineken, Hickory’s Steakhouse Pale Ale (whatever that is), Theakston Best, Bud Light and a decent pint of Lagunitas IPA. It was empty, but there were lots of uniformed staff wandering around so it must get busy when the kitchen is open, my visit being after 22:00 when it was closed. If you’re a fan of meat and Dolly Parton get yourself down here.
