Very smart, food-led pub, but the bar counter has four high chairs and they're not just for people waiting for their tables to be vacated. Or perhaps they are but I sat there anyway. (There's a gorgeous sitting room to the right, but I didn't see any beer mats there.) My half of Woodforde's Wherry was pretty ropey, but the lass who served me spotted it and poured some more through to clear the pipes. This just about dragged it up to NBSS 2.5, but at just £5.20/pint in a posh place like this, I'm not complaining.
