Appears that someone has spent a lot of money refurbishing this pub, which now needs to re-establish a bit of character in the fairly bland rooms. Similarly. at the rear, the garden has been part-decked with an enormous wheelchair ramp. The only beers available at time of visit were Bombardier or Doom Bar, with Bass presently not available and no sign of local ales. Pleasant enough and hopefully will improve.

A really nice pub. Right by the station so ideal for having a drink in before your train. Up to 5 real ales on. Separated drinking areas plus beer garden. Really nice.
