The White Horse has a large L-shaped bar that supports at least two hand pumps, Greene King Old Speckled Hen and Salopian Shropshire Gold were the cask ale options during a recent Thursday evening visit. A standard and premium keg selection is also available. Televisions are located throughout for watching live sports. This is also a live music venue so the seating is restricted to a couple of large booths in the front windows and along the exterior walls. There are better pubs in the area, but none of them are open until 2am everyday so I see the attraction to the local student population.

This is a long single room that on my visit was another shrine to the God of TV Sport. The TVs were everywhere but there was music playing over it. There were four beers available from two banks of hand pumps, Weetewood Eastgate & Cheshire Cat, Salopian Shropshire Gold and Greene King Rocked Out. I went for the Shropshire Gold (£3.50) which was in decent nick. Apparently this place is open until 02:00am every night of the week so I assume shambolic old wrecks aren't the target audience!

A good pub that has rock memorabilia around inside. Bizarrely had a large swimming pool in the beer garden last summer.

The White Horse is a decent looking pub in the middle of Nantwich.
Once inside the pub was fairly smart and comfortable but there were no real ales on the bar with the only bitter being John Smiths so i had a Guinness.
