The Railway Hotel is a large pub with a stage area for live music. This is a music led pub, as the Beatles and Merseybeat posters on the walls suggest. There are a couple of seating areas in addition to the L-shaped bar and there is a pool table. Televisions are available for watching live sports. The bar supports a standard and premium keg range and the two handpumps were both badged with Theakston. I’ve been in a lot worse station pubs.

Not bad if you're waiting for your train. Plenty of memorabilia of some band from Liverpool around the place.

I have drank in this pub many times waiting for a train etc, very large with a very rock and sporty feel about the place, always a very nice pint of lager and polite bar staff, the pub is decorated by england flags and pictures of the beatles, it also has an elvis statue on the exterior of the pub, very intresting hotel, serves good food ,especially the all day breakfast.

The Railway is a large pub that is very close to the train station.
The pub was fairly smart inside and it was a Greenalls tied house when i went in here, there were two real ales on here i had a drink of Greenalls bitter which was ok but nothing special the other beer was Greenalls mild.
This pub is very handy if your waiting for a train.
