Hidden down an alleyway, this is one of the new style Lees branded pubs. There are some tables and chairs in the alleyway which is where we had to sit as ALL the tables and chairs inside were up on the tables at 10:40, luckily it was warm. A friendly welcome from the barman though, even though it was obvious they weren't going to be open much longer. 2 handpumps on the bar selling Lees MPA and Bitter. I had a pint of the MPA, it was filth, totally sour and well past its best. This was changed, with an apology, for the Lees Bitter which was OK. The other half had red wine which she said was also OK. I doubt if we'll bother coming here again though.

Have to agree with Soupy when he says its tucked down an alley and is a modern wine bar. Curiosity did get the better of me, so I popped in for a look. There where two ales on handpump from Lees. The staff were very friendly and they let me stand at the bar, whilst I tried the Governor by Marco Pierre White from Lees Brewery. The beer was exceptional, so am glad I tried it.

Tucked down an alley, this is a modern wine bar kind of place, with a little patio area. Seemingly a little upmarket and not my kind of thing, though i believe they do real ales - JW Lees, i think the CAMRA guide said. It looked food orientated as well, so i just passed it by.
