Had a drink with Steve the landlord this afternoon. Although no real ale on draught, he does sell bottles! We sat on AstroTurf roof garden.

Closed last night when I tried to visit. If it's not open on a Friday a week before Christmas I'm guessing it's closed for good. The restaurant below was open though.

The Dog & Partridge has now reopened as a restaurant named Basils. There is also a new wine bar upstairs which is called Sybils.I have used the restaurant on several occasions and have had no cause for complaint although there is not currently any real ale served.
