This roadside pub is currently owned by Hall and Woodhouse. The building is brick-built and has a thatched roof. There is a large garden, a patio with seats, tables and a heap of litter, a good sized car-park and a children's play area, while inside the single rambling bar has a mix of wooden and tiled flooring, exposed timbers (relatively modern) and is furnished mainly for diners. Staff were charming, food was average, and there were only 2 ales on. I had a pint of Brewers Bee, which was drinkable but not brilliant. An agreeable place to have a lunch or a pint when passing.
