Komakino . left this review about Queens Head

Just behind the noted Kings Head and away enough from Aylesbury Market Square, bordering on the 'old town' area. This small pub remains as described below with bar against the right-hand wall upon entry and offering just Doom Bar from one of the three handpumps (the other two unclipped) which was in adequate enough shape. There's a raised area towards the back of the pub to the left which doubles as a stage for music and a smallish courtyard garden out back with a few rough edges, but pleasant enough on a nice day in an 'urban kind of way.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Queens Head

Looks like an old pub, and despite considerable remodelling, it still retains elements of the original multi-room layout. However, the latest semi-modern and surprisingly light refurbishment means little original character remains. Busy with a boisterous, post-work crowd when I visited, with the popular jukebox doing good (if loud) business. Just Purity Pure Gold (£3.80) available from the three handpumps, but this was in decent shape.

Beautiful, lovely pub! Has that lovely traditional warm feel to it. Went for a family meal on a Sunday and it was relatively busy. They had roasts on which we all had - I had the beef - and a good selection of ales (for dad!) The service was quick and friendly and the food very yummy! Would go again.
