Now demolished, will not be replaced by flats etc, Horndean has met it's housing quota for now, so land will probably be derelict until at least 2020 when current housing quota expires

Due to close, 10 year lease up for renewal and will not be renewed, future uncertain, pub, Tesco express or flats?Time will tell

Used to be the Good Intent, which lost it's licence and was closed

Now completely refurbished, renamed & reopened in 2007

Update for May 2008
Went in for a pint at last, the usual beer / lager cider available, Fosters etc. However there were 2 draught beers on, I had a Bishops, excellent stuff.

Offer of 2.50 on drinks from 5pm to I think 8pm [do check this]

Staff were friendly & attentive
The inside is on three levels, but seems open and spacious

Did not eat, but appears to be popular with locals for value food

Has live music as well, so if you fancy a nice pint, pleasant, comfortable design and food this pub could be for you
