E TA left this review about The Cashmoor Inn

Previously The Inn on the Chase, and was owned by Marstons. It has now reverted back to its original name and is a freehouse. It is a large roadside inn with a large car park, a decent garden and some outside seating adjacent to the road. Inside, there are two bars. The bigger bar to the left is mainly used by diners and is laid to table. The smaller public bar has a dartboard and a tv showing the news. The décor is primarily 1970s shabby, with appropriately manky carpet, small fireplaces and fake timbers. Food is advertised, with a schedule of theme nights such as tapas and oriental nights. However, on this occasion it wasn't possible to eat due to technical problems in the kitchen (maybe the tin opener had gone missing). Free wifi was available. There were two ales on draft, both from the nearby Sixpenny Brewery. I had a pint of Jack Ale which was in extremely good condition and very enjoyable. There were also two barrels of cider on the bar on gravity feed. The pub does not open on Mondays. Worth dropping in for its beer alone.
