Had a lovely ploughmans there at lunch time on the 6/4/12,this was with agreat pint of scotch bitter,there was a really good choice on the menu and i will certenly call again if im passing.

Been here a few times.
Just one real ale from the local Geltsdale brewery. On this occasion it was served in a murphys glass which is just the way I like it.
Usually about a dozen locals in on an afternoon (good for the area) mainly smoothflow and lager drinkers. One or two diners (meals reasonable), there is even a separate dining room for non minglers.
There is an enormous mirror, weekend entertainment and a dartboard.
The one beer is always decent. All in all in all its a good place to stop off. Kind of place to enjoy a sleepy summer afternoon.

i did the entertainment here for new years eve 2006 what a fantastic night stayed over at the hotel as well very comfortable and clean highly rec
