Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Heathfield Tavern

Modernised pub (formerly the Prince of Wales), located slightly away from the main centre but the only one in the whole area (which seems very odd for a place of this size). Anyway, the L-shaped bar area is in the old part of the building by the crossroads, with the semi-separate restaurant off to one side. Smart furniture and decor in the latter, plainer in the former. With just one real ale on the four handpumps, your money would be on Harvey's, and of course you'd be right (at £4.60).

Steve C left this review about The Prince of Wales

The Prince of Wales is one of two pubs in the village of Heathfield and both are a brisk walk from the main high street. I visited on a recent weekday afternoon and found a large pub that is split into three distinct areas. To the right of the pub is a room that houses a pool table, dartboard and jukebox. There is also access to a smoking shelter at the rear where there is a large car park. The bar area is in the centre and during my visit there was one other customer along with a couple of noisy children who I took to be the offspring off the management. A small television up on the wall was showing horse racing, but I didn’t spot any Sky Sports advertisements. Alongside Coors the usual draught suspects are all available and the bar supports four hand pumps. Two of these were unused and the Doom Bar was off leaving Harvey’s Best as the sole ale option. To the right of the bar is a large area that looks like it may be used for functions or dining and beyond this is a conservatory.
I didn’t spot any live entertainment or quizzes advertised, but there were a few posters asking for new staff members.

I wasn’t very impressed with the POW and I don’t plan to return anytime soon.
