Steve C left this review about The Lord Nelson

Apart from a small group of very rowdy students the Lord Nelson was quiet at 23:00 on Saturday night last weekend. A standard draught selection was available and two of the hand pumps were off leaving Directors as the only ale choice. The bar is located at the front of the pub and there is seating at the rear along with a dartboard. The jukebox wasn’t overly loud and there is also a fruit machine. Out the front up some steps from the pavement are a couple of large tables that were being used mainly by smokers.

This place looks interesting from the outside, but the interior is a bit grubby and minimal making it not the most comfortable of places. There are much better establishments in Hastings to spend one’s hard earned.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Lord Nelson

Curious-looking building, located up a flight of steps and no first or second floor windows on the facade. Inside, it is pretty rough and ready, with a very limited amount of furniture (in fact most of the seating can be found outside on the front patio). Directors available from one of the handpumps (£3.00) but note that the one with a Courage Best clip is only for display purposes as this is only available in keg form.
