It's now an upmarket furniture shop so I think it's safe to say it will never be a pub again.

Hailsham is not served by a railway station, but this is one of two pubs in the town centre that were named in regard to the station that was operating until its closure in September 1968. The Terminus is a large detached pub that seems to reign as the live music pub of the area as there are bands every Saturday night from 21:00 until 23:30 and on Fridays there are disco and karaoke sessions that start at 20:30 and go on until late, whenever that is. There are also alternate quiz and bingo nights on Sundays for those interested. There is a TV in the large front bar area that was showing the Saturday football results roll in via BBC as there is no Sky Sports and there is also a dartboard. At the rear of the pub there are two pool tables that were being used by some boisterous young locals. I found the service to be friendly enough and the Guinness was well served. Along with some other standard draught products Courage Best is also available, but three hand pumps were unused.
There is a large car park with five jumbrella covered picnic tables edging onto it, but these seemed to be more for the benefit of smokers. There is a grassed area to the rear of the car park with some more picnic tables in situ, but again I didn't think this to be the nicest space.
The atmosphere when an event is on is obviously going to be vastly different to what I encountered during my Saturday afternoon visit, but I’m not a massive fan of live music in pubs so I cannot see a return visit.
