Village local with a slightly bitty interior due to a mixture of refurbs. The central bar area has gone for a trad style with fake beams, the front dining area has a light wood Scandinavian feel, while the games room at the back is featureless modern. Despite that, it is quite a nice pub, with a strong local following. The limited menu changes according to day, eg pies only on Wednesday, pizza Thursday, fish Friday. Ales are Theakston Best and a changing guest: Kirkstall 3 Swords at time of visit. There is a patio and lawned garden and some letting rooms at the rear.
