Quite a dark narrow interior that stretches a long way back. 3 real ales and “craft keg” served.

Heaving with a post-work crowd on an early Friday evening which necessitated a long wait at the bar, a half of Battledown Pale Ale was in great shape at £1.65 for a half, accompanied by Goff's Fallen Knight and Goff's Tournament to make a decent ale line-up. Darkly-lit inside, the volume of bodies meant there was little time to appreciate the surroundings.

Bit of a strange place in that it is a trendy café during the daytime then more of a pub / bar selling real ales of an evening. The main bar area has comfy sofas, and chairs and then there is a rear games room with fruit machines and pool table.
We only really popped in due to its proximity to our hotel on the northern side of town and we could walk past it on our way down to Montpellier. There are three real ale pumps on the bar but only two were functional for our visit. Theakstons Lightfoot and Wickwar Brewing Company Cotswold Way were on and I think the other may have been another Wickwar brew.
Comfortable place for a pint but not one I would have gone out of my way for.
